I'm surprised it hasn't been more heralded - as it I'm surprised it hasn't been more heralded - as it's really quite a big deal - but a sizable new Heals showroom has opened on the second floor of Fenwick in #Newcastle today. As far as I'm aware, it's the first time Heal's has ever traded in the North East.

As you'd expect, there are a few things you can take away on the day - such as lighting - but many of the furniture items are made to order. The spacious and elegant interior offers plenty of inspiration!

I love how the second-floor windows facing Northumberland Street have been uncovered for the first time in years as part of the Heal's fit-out - not just bringing light and views, but creating some cool warehouse-style roomset opportunities too.

Thanks to the friendly Heal's team for willingly letting me take some photos to share, and to Sue Hunt's (Resolve Retail) tweets for tipping me off about the opening. Hopefully word will soon get around, and Heal's in Newcastle will be a great and lasting success! Graham 👏👏👏
