Andrew Bartlett AIPM is Marketing Consultant at CannyInsights.com, with a focus on helping shops, cafes and other venues drive footfall to their businesses and reduce unnecessary costs.
Passionate about the high street, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Place Management, Andrew is the founder of ROAM, a free social networking travel app that helps visitors discover new places and venues, and lets businesses claim their listings and communicate with existing and potential customers.
Originally launched in Darlington, ROAM is now being rolled out by several Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) as part of townwide campaigns.
You can read more about how ROAM helps businesses and places here, and listen to Andrew to talking about his work and inspirations in The Eagle Podcast below.
Save The High Street

Andrew is also co-founder and director at Save The High Street Ltd, a company that helps local businesses to promote their services across the UK, and to save money by accessing exclusive discounts and incentives. To date, Save The High Street has helped some retailers reduce annual costs by hundreds or thousands of pounds in areas such as energy procurement, card services, business telecoms and business insurance – freeing up resources to potentially invest in other areas of their operations, such as marketing and customer experience.
Madhouse Media
As Sales Director at County Durham-based integrated marketing agency Madhouse Media, Andrew is also involved in helping businesses grow and maximise their return on investment – through delivering effective branding, websites and digital marketing campaigns.
