Digital marketing mentoring for Natural Nutrients
We acted as digital marketing mentor for County Durham-based online retailer Natural Nutrients, providing half a day of in-person contact time each month.
Leveraging our well-established networks, we also introduced the company to key influencers in the North East business community; within months, these leads had helped the company secure funding for growth and win an award for ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’.
Instagram training for a piano retailer in London
We spent half a day instore with this independent retailer, giving the owner and his team one-to-one tips on how to capture beautiful and eyecatching images of their shop and products, advising on the use of suitable Instagram hashtags, and suggesting how best to repurpose Instagram content for use via other social channels.
Setting up and managing @stocktonshops on Twitter
We voluntarily set up the @stocktonshops Twitter account in October 2014, partly as a demonstration of our social media skills, but primarily to celebrate Stockton-on-Tees town centre and its businesses.
At that point in time, there was no existing social media account pulling together updates from across the town’s shops and eateries, so @stocktonshops filled an important gap in showcasing the strength and diversity of Stockton’s retail offer, and promoting it to an audience both within and beyond the Teesside area.

We still manage the account – which has grown to nearly 1,000 followers – and, though it is entirely ‘unofficial’, @stocktonshops continues to be seen as an important and influential channel by key players in the town, with plenty of mentions, retweets, and requests to share updates.
We are happy to discuss creating and/or managing similar social media accounts for shopping centres, Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) or other destinations – get in touch if you think we could help.
