Industry and consumer-focused PR activity for new shopping centre and department store
We undertook several days of PR activity for a new shopping centre and its anchor department store, showcasing the scheme to both retail and consumer audiences.
We provided detailed, insightful and illustrated coverage of the developments via our own Soult’s Retail View blog, and shared interesting updates through our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest accounts. We took our own photographs whenever we visited the site, and used these to ensure that our PR activity was always original, interesting and visually rich.

The client was keen to get their development noticed on the national stage, and, through our Twitter connections, we were able to secure a three-page spread about the scheme, at no cost, in a national retail publication. Later, we gained further national coverage for the anchor department store, through a column that we wrote and had published in the retail press.
Looking at the use of our own channels, the Soult’s Retail View coverage proved very successful, generating over 300 Facebook shares and 2,300 website page impressions.
An additional consumer-focused piece about the department store’s fashion offer, published at our Fashion & Style Directory site, generated another 80 Facebook shares, over 2,000 Twitter impressions, and plenty of online buzz.
