Our client had acquired a series of bakery businesses whose existing websites were poorly written, out of date, and inconsistent in their messaging.

Through discussions with the client and our own understanding of the businesses, we established what the companies’ core values and activities were, and made sure that our newly-written web copy fully communicated these.

Writing consumer- and industry-focused press releases for a retail client

We worked with a national retailer to promote its store opening programme, drawing from our detailed knowledge and understanding of that company’s history and strategy.

Polishing media copy

A North East MD had written a newspaper column profiling his business; before submission, we made sure that the article’s grammar and tone of voice was absolutely right, and reworked the ending of the piece to increase its impact.

Due to our client’s tight deadline, we were able to turn this job around in less than half a day.

Creating engaging resource content for the web

As well as writing nearly 300 posts for our own Soult’s Retail View blog, we have also provided a series of ‘Places We Like’ articles for CannySites.com’s Holiday & Travel Directory, showcasing interesting destinations around the world. We research the content for each article using online and offline sources, creating copy that is original, interesting and useful, while also embedding a subtle sales message.

Others have recognised the quality of our content too, and, in November 2011, our piece about Edinburgh was named best article in a competition organised by Apex Hotels.
